Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our commercial team. As a Financial Analyst within the commercial team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day commercial operations, optimizing profit, ensuring smooth transaction flow, and complying with government tax and financial regulations. Your analytical insights and recommendations will contribute to effective deal structuring and bid management activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders while enhancing your financial analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in handling the day-to-day commercial preparation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Collaborate with the finance team to optimize profitability and facilitate seamless transaction flow for sales.
Coordinate with the logistic team to structure logistics for sales efficiently.
Ensure that commercial structuring aligns with current government tax and financial regulations.
Provide insightful data-backed recommendations to both management and clients regarding optimized deal structuring.
Perform periodic analysis on bid management activities, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
Engage with customers, banks, and other stakeholders as necessary to support commercial operations.
Execute other financial analysis tasks as required by the team and management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from a reputable university specializing in Finance, Management, or a related field.
Full or part qualification in a related professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or CA.
Previous experience in a similar or related role would be desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge and application of MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to manage tasks independently.
Familiarity with prevailing banking and economic indicators and trends.
