Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
Develop and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Conduct thorough manual testing to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
Identify, isolate, and document defects with detailed steps to reproduce.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage (nice to have).
Utilize automation tools for regression testing and continuous integration.
Effectively communicate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Document and report test results, including defects and testing progress.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the project's overall goals and objectives.
Participate in sprint planning, review meetings, and daily stand-ups.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and practices.
Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the testing workflow.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in testing web, API, and mobile applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
