Senior Project Manager / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and versatile professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading projects through traditional project management practices while also serving as a Scrum Master to facilitate agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, and closure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Empower and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance.
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to prioritize and deliver features.
Coordinate and allocate resources, ensuring optimal utilization and productivity.
Manage and track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices for both traditional and agile project management.
Facilitate retrospectives to gather feedback and drive improvements.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, mitigating potential issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with teams to address and resolve bottlenecks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in project management.
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a background in agile methodologies in software development projects.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) is highly preferred.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Agile Project Manager (PMI-ACP) or any other relevant agile certifications.
Strong understanding of both traditional project management practices and agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with project management software tools (Microsoft Project and JIRA).
